WORKSHOP: Land-Atmosphere Exchanges in Complex Urban Landscapes.
The workshop on will take place in person at Argonne National Laboratory, November 13-14, 2023. This workshop is supported by the Department of Energy Environmental System Science Program (https://ess.science.energy.gov), hosted by the AmeriFlux Management Project (https://ameriflux.lbl.gov) and co-organized with the support of Argonne National Laboratory.
The Workshop objectives are:
- To identify knowledge gaps and research needs concerning land-atmosphere exchanges of gasses, materials, and energy in complex urban landscapes.
- To develop a white paper that will summarize the state-of-the-art and develop research thrusts that can be addressed by the research community and supported by agencies.
- To disseminate experiences from urban land-atmosphere exchange studies and broaden participation from the wider research community.
