Argonne Leadership Computing Facility in collaboration with Intel's Center of Excellence is hosting a tutorial session on the Aurora testbed systems, along with daily office hours at the 2023 ECP Annual Meeting. 

The tutorial session is on January 17, 2023 and the office hours will take place on Jan 18 and Jan 19.

In the tutorial session, users with access to the Aurora testbed systems can participate in hands-on work and individual discussions.

Please note that your institution must have a CNDA agreement with Intel for you to be allowed to attend the tutorial and office hours. Attendees need to have active JLSE/ALCF accounts with access to the Aurora testbed systems to be able to participate in the hands-on portions during the tutorial.

A broad range of topics will be covered to provide attendees with essential information to get running on these systems and to help maximize hands-on time and interactions between participants.

Some high-level topic are:

  • Overview of Aurora hardware
  • Overview of the Aurora software environment (programming models, libraries, tools)
  • Hands-on on the Aurora testbed systems and introduction to compiling and running jobs
