DESCRIPTION:Register to join our November 4\, 2026\, webinar\, “SYCL Ver
sus Everybody: Performance Difference Is a Bug\,” to explore how SYCL st
acks up against other programming models\, including OpenMP and Kokkos\, i
n performance comparisons. \n \nThis webinar will present a performance
comparison of SYCL with other programming models\, including OpenMP and Ko
kkos\, and examine the factors behind the observed performance differences
. We will also discuss the future direction of SYCL and how users can help
shape its future. \n \nThomas Applencourt is Computational Scientist at
Argonne National Laboratory interested in HPC. He is working now on Auror
a\, the first announced exascale system. He is interested in various progr
amming models (OpenMP\, SYCL) and low-level programming. He is the Chair o
f the SYCL of Working group since 2026. \n \n\nhttps://events.cels.anl.g
