Description

The OpenMC Application to Tokamak Neutronics Analysis Meeting is taking place from May 28-30, 2025, at Argonne National Laboratory. In collaboraton with EUROfusion, this technical meeting will focus on the application of the OpenMC Monte Carlo particle transport code to fusion tokamak devices and neutron sources such as ITER, JET, DEMO, SPARC, DTT, STEP, VNS, and IFMIF-DONES. Presentations and discussion topics will include ongoing OpenMC feature development, R&D activities, experiences and testimonies, and identification of development needs to inform a software roadmap.

The meeting is by invitation only for scientists and engineers who are users and/or developers of OpenMC focused on applications in fusion energy.

A detailed agenda will be announced soon.  Stay tuned!
