Xanadu is the first company to make photonic quantum devices available on the cloud. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to photonic quantum computing, focusing on the near-term platform of Gaussian boson sampling. Having set the stage, we'll explore a variety of quantum algorithms based on Gaussian boson sampling, and learn how they can be implemented using the Strawberry Fields software library. We'll then bring all concepts together with a live demo of photonic quantum computing on the cloud.
